I saw the light of day for the first time in the early morning of 7 July 1973.
I spent my early childhood in Vemmedrup where I lived with my parents Ole and Jette, my 5-year-old brother Jesper, our dog Lassie and our cat Magnus.
I went to kindergarten in Vemmedrup (Yderholm) until I was almost 6.
In the spring of 1979 we moved into a bigger house (actually a former schoolhouse). It was situated one kilometre outside Lille Skensved.
I also started in school in August 1979, in a preschool class at Højelse School. I went here until the third grade when I switched to Sydkystens Private School, Solrød. In 1982, I started to play the drums, first at the local after-school club. Then, after I passed out while playing football, I took up drum lessons at a music school instead.
I remember my first teacher was named Ole Bo Petersen, who was, and still is, an excellent drummer.
In 1984 my brother asked me to be a stand-in drummer in his band. After that I played for them with increasing frequency. By 1985 I was their only drummer and we started our own band named “Sphinx”.
We played hard rock, inspired by Kiss, Iron Maiden, Swedish Europe (before final countdown) and Black Sabbath… So we were quite a hard–rockin’ band… Also in 1985 we performed our first real concert on the Køge waterfront at a festival named “SMUK 85”.
In 1986 we changed our name to “Drive-in” and were increasingly inspired by pop music, such as  Simple Minds, Duran Duran and Alpha Ville, plus a Danish group named Kliché. Of course the standard was low, but we all wanted to be stars.
In 1987, we recorded our first single “Nattoget” (Night Train), which was only released in Køge, but it was a success, and we started to get a lot of small gigs in the area because of it.
Also in 1987 I switched from Sydkystens Private School to Tøxens School in Køge, originally because I had been kicked out of Sydkystens.
Then I left Tøxens in 1988 to attend Odsherreds Continuation School, a boarding school of sorts that lasts one year. It was very nice there. (I played bass in a band that year and drums in the weekend, of course, when I was with the other band.)
In 1989, we released our second single, “1000 Hjerter” (1000 Hearts). It was also a big success, and we were now playing at local nightclubs, bars and restaurants.
In the same year I started studying at Køge Technical College, Køge.
The following year, I started my traineeship as an electronic mechanic at a video and film company named Toft+Fischer A/S.
In 1990, our band started getting booked for lots of gigs all over Denmark for a period of two years. We played every Friday at Café Egebjerg, on Gråbrødre Square in the centre of Copenhagen.
Almost every Saturday we also played in restaurants, bars or nightclubs…
In 1992, I left Lille Skensved and moved into a small apartment in the Copenhagen suburb of Glostrup.
I finished my education in 1993 and moved from Glostrup to Tune, near Roskilde.
Then in 1994, I joined the Danish Royal Lifeguard. After a few months I broke a leg and left the military. In the same month, my son Emil was born.
Emil’s mother and I separated in 1995, and I moved to Nr. Dalby, Borup, where I bought a house.
This same year we started to play with greater frequency, almost 70–100 gigs a year in hot bars, hotels and restaurants all over Denmark..
That same year I returned to the company where I had been trained, and my boss asked me to start up a multimedia department and help in the sales department with the new computerized professional audio and video-editing systems.
It was very exciting and we were the first – and the leading company in Denmark – to convert video from film into computer formats such as AVI, QuickTime and MPEG… Later on, we added streaming, etc.
Back then, computers were so slow that it could take up to two hours to convert one minute of video. Then it was necessary to configure the correct algorithm, frame numbers and size to make the smoothest material.
For me personally, it became more and more of a computer service, because I started to perform maintenance on our servers and then on the computers of subsidiaries.
So, in 1997, I decided to test my limits by starting my own company, SNC ApS. The main services I provided were computers, servers and workstations for business-to-business only. Later came websites, multimedia productions and video editing. The company existed until August 2003, when it was closed, after which I started another company which I am still working in today, Vision Trade ApS.
In 1999 I changed my address from Nr. Dalby to Lille Skensved, where I also established Zuum Studio, a new, professional, high-end digitised audio recording studio.
Here I produced several CDs and also published one myself: “Køgebands 2000”.
It was a hard work because musicians are used to working evenings and nights and I also had to take care of my company during the day. So after long period I closed the public studio.
In 2001, I started my adventures in Russia. I went to St Petersburg several times where I also met a woman and fell in love with her.
Since then, I have done a lot of business in Russia and travelled there 4 to 10 times a year (and still do.) I mainly travel to St Petersburg, Moscow, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo.
My daughter Alexandra was born in 2003 and that same year we moved from Lille Skensved to Køge.
I was divorced in early 2006 and now live alone.
Today, I mainly do webprojects and host around 200 domains and have carried out video/multimedia productions directly for clients and as a service vendor. (Clients include Novo Nordisk, Coca Cola, Aeroflot, Sadolin, DSB, Aarhus Municipal Hospital.)
I have many ideas and never compromise on quality for the price.
In my leisure time, I adore spending time with my children, as well as travelling all over the world, especially in Russia where I also do a lot of business.
Also, I like to do model photography and am active chamber member of Køge Photo Club (http://www.foto-klub.dk ). I been the drummer in my band Drive-In since 1985 (http://www.drive-in.dk/).
